Beware! Bearded dragon color morphs can be faked by unscrupulous dealers.

Before you buy that extra-bright colored "sandfire" morph, examine the animal closely and give it a bath. Unscrupulous dealers have discovered that it is quite possible to dye absorbent bearded dragon skin with food colorings so that it looks like a much more valuable specimen. Don't be suckered in by this trick.
